Bouncy castles by law (HSE) should not be used in winds above 24 mph (38 kmph). High winds can cause the inflatable to become unstable, potentially lifting it off the ground and posing a serious safety risk.
When an inflatable is being operated outside, upon arrival we will use a digital wind speed meter (anemometer) to measure & record the wind speed. If the wind speed is above 24mph then we will unfortunately not be able to set up the bouncy castle. Please note that this does not apply to indoor hires.
We are soon going to provide all outdoor hire customers with digital wind speed meters (anemometers) & wind check sheets, so that regular wind speed measurements can be taken throughout the day.
