What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to ALL SE, BR & DA postcodes. We also deliver to a selection of SW, TN & E Postcodes. A delivery fee may apply to certain postcodes. Please look at the check availability & postcode selection for delivery costs.
How long will you need to set-up and pack away?
Home deliveries - We will need about 30mins to set up & 30 mins to pack away. Halls & venues - We will need about 45mins to set up & 45mins to pack away
What is included in my hire?
When hiring any inflatable we supply an extension lead, metal pegs/sand bags/fixings etc, electric blower and at least 2 safety matts. All bouncy castles have rain covers built in as standard. All hires include set up & collection. Disco domes/Disco Castles - lights & speakers are also included within the hire charge.
Are Happy Hippos Bouncy Castles available all year round?
Yes! However no outside bookings between the 31st Nov to 1st March due to poor weather & early sunsets. We welcome indoor hall hires in between these dates & all year round! Please try and book your hire as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
We will only cancel if the wind is over 24mph (legal limit) or heavy rain or thunderstorms are predicted. This is for the safety of our customers & is not negotiable. If a cancellation occurs for these reasons you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

How do I pay?
You can pay through our website (accepting all major cards). You have the option to pay in full or pay a deposit. We also accept cash or bank transfer. Deposits will be returned in full providing we have been given at least 72hrs notice of any cancellation.
What happens if an item arrives and does not fit in my garden or venue?
If we arrive and the garden/venue area is too small or not suitable or safe for the product ordered, then you will lose the deposit already paid to us. This is due to the fact that the sizes are requested on the booking form. Please understand we still have to pay our staff to attend the venue and have to pay the fuel costs. Plus we will also lose out on the full hire when we could of booked it out to another customer.
What happens if the equipment gets damaged whilst on hire?
Hopefully this doesn’t happen, no reason why it should with full adult supervision and correct use, but in the event that it does, you (as the hirer) with incur a charge for cleaning the items/s or repairs to the item. Important - If our equipment is left dirty (e.g face paints, food) when we collect it, then we will charge you a cleaning fee.
What preparations would I need to make before you arrive?
Have a clear access to where the inflatable or soft play equipment is to be set up. Please include clearing of side walk ways - removal of bins & bags of rubbish. We will need to get a trolley through. Clear of any dog foul, stones, washing lines and poles etc. The ground/floor space should be a flat and an even surface with no mud or earth, clear of any sharp objects, toys, trampolines, slides etc. We will be able to set up more quickly and enable you to get on and enjoy the hire if you make sure the area is fully clear before our arrival. Any outside space MUST be clear of dog, foxes, cats (or any other) faeces and we reserve the right to refuse delivery if the area is not suitably clean or prepared. Grass needs to be cut before delivery, with no loose grass on the ground please. Have the full payment ready please.
Do you set up on Outside Hard Surfaces as well as grass?
We can set up on concrete or tarmac providing we can drill a minimum of 6 eye bolts into the ground. A site survey will usually be needed & an additional £45 will be added to the hire charge. We cannot set up eye bolts on brick, paving slabs, or crazy paving as the surface must be solid. The eye bolts can be removed after use or a flat bolt can be screwed in to provide a flat surface after use so it can be used again in the future. How long is the hire period? Venues and Homes
Deliveries are from 6am-11am & collections are after 6pm. Times will vary to accommodate for hall bookings. We do our upmost to give our customers the maximum amount of time and work closely on your needs.
Over night hire?
Unfortunately we do not offer an overnight service on any of our products.
What age group is the equipment for?
ALL our bouncy castles are for CHILDREN'S USE ONLY (12yrs max) with a maximum of 5 children using the equipment at any one time or 7 children for our Assault Courses.. Under no circumstances should any of our bouncy castles be used by adults.
Are you insured?
Yes! We have £5million Public Liability Insurance. We are members of the British Inflatable Hire Alliance (BIHA) & The Inflatable Enterprise (TIPE). All our equipment has passed the annual PIPA safety tests & all our electrical equipment is PAT tested annually. PIPA safety tests can be viewed for all products on our website. We are also DBS checked. Certificates can be presented upon request or emailed prior to any booking.
Do you Provide Risk Assessments?
Yes! Risk Assessments can be presented upon request or emailed prior to any booking.
Can things be bespoke to my order?
Any special requirements please add this to your booking form when completing it online or email us and we will try assist as best we can.
Cancellations?
If you cancel a reservation with less than 72 hours notice, then we will not return the deposit already paid to us. If a cancellation is due to adverse weather conditions, refunds of deposits will be paid in full or an alternate day will be arranged.
What are your Terms & Conditions?
We have Terms & Conditions of Hire which you (the hirer) are obliged to abide by should you wish to book with us. The Terms & Conditions will need to be signed prior to the booking. We pride ourselves not only on providing excellent customer service for all of our Inflatable’s, but also on the safety of our client comes first.
This is why we would ask all clients to adhere to our terms and conditions to ensure that everyone using our Inflatable Bouncy Castles is not only having fun, but are also remaining safe at all times.
